I wouldn’t say I have a green thumb. In fact recently I killed a succulent. That’s hard to do.
I do grow good poison ivy though. No matter what I do, it comes back!
I’m super impressive, I know…
When we bought our house, the builder had paid a landscaper to put in grass/plants in our house and the one he built next door. When this “landscaper” got to our house, he clearly gave up.
After grass took forever to grow and was more sparse than an aging man’s hair, we trucked in a ton of top spoil to spread (by HAND!) over the sandy ground.
It’s been looking great, until this past “winter” when some stupid mole decided to play mole games
Yes, what every girl wants: tiny sand traps in her yard.
Thank goodness I had a nice lawn boy – the 4 year-old variety – to help me.
“Look Mommy, my shadow is taller than you!”
Yes it is Son…
